Subject: Update on Glen and I

Greetings all:
I post this hesitantly because there seems to be so much going on with
others on the site, but I wanted everyone to know that in recent weeks,
Glen's symptoms have returned. He was having some stomach and side pain,
and a little near his throat. We went to see the cancer specialists, and
they advised us that his cancer has flaired up again. We will begin Kemo
therapy again on July 25. They will be using a different drug this time
because it will introduce something in to his system that the cancer has not
before seen and may fight the cancer a little more aggressively.
They will have him on kemo for six months, but they say that even if this
treatment does not work, they still have other options. They encouraged Glen
and said he is not ready to give up yet and to keep fighting.
As for me, we attended the convention in New Orleans, and even though we had
a pretty good time, I came home with Covid.
My symptoms are not severe at all. I have no fever, and can taste and smell
all food. I just have what feels like a cold. I will test again in a few
days, and Glen and I will live in separate rooms for now as he tested
negative.
Please keep us in your prayers, and as always, we appreciate all of the
support from VIP.

On Behalf Of Daniel Scott With A Sad Heart!

I wanted to let everyone know, that Dad passed away this morning around 11
AM CDT. It was shortly before we made it to the hospital.... He asked the
nurse, for something to drink and eat... He began the day, by frequently
taking the bipap mask off... He ate a little apple sauce and drank some
water. And, he said, "I am ready to go!" And, about 10 to 15 minutes later
he passed. He didn't want us, to have to make this difficult decision...
