Drying Fresh Herbs In The Microwave

Contributed by: Delma

Wash herbs, shake off excess moisture, then pat with paper towels to dry completely. Remove leaves from stems and arrange in a single layer between double thickness of paper towels. Dry about 1 cup at a time by placing in the microwave on high power for 2-3 minutes. Allow to cool. Then crumble, package in plastic bags or glass containers.Great for parsley, summer savory, and basil.
