Make the most of your extra-virgin olive oil with these suggestions:
- Storing - Store olive oil in a cool, dark place. Light is its worst enemy.
- Purchasing - When purchasing high-quality extra-virgin olive oils, look on the bottle
for the packaging or expiration date. If stored properly, the oil should be
good for 18 months.
- Quick Bread Dip - For a quick dip for bread, combine 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, 2
tablespoons lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt. Sprinkle the
dipped bread with dried Greek oregano.
