Oven Baked Meatball Subs

Ingredients:

20 frozen fully-cooked meatballs
1 jar pasta sauce
4 sub sandwich rolls, cut, with one side intact
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Method:

Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 - Coat an 18x26-inch baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3 - In a large pot over low-medium heat, add the meatballs and the pasta sauce and gently stir to coat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are heated through.
Step 4 - Add 4-5 meatballs to each of the sandwich rolls and top with the sauce.
Step 5 - Transfer the subs to the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6 - Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the subs.
Step 7 - Bake the subs, uncovered, until the mozzarella cheese is melted, hot, and bubbly.
Step 8 - Serve.
