Saltines
1 stick of butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 bag milk chocolate chip (can use peanut butter chips also) *
Make sure to use a raised side baking sheet. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spread saltines on baking sheet. Melt on medium low heat butter and brown sugar until gooey. Pour evenly over crackers. Use wooden spoon to help cover crackers. Bake for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips. (They will melt fast). Spread with back of a metal spoon. Pop into fridge or freezer until set & break apart.
*do not use white chocolate chips they do not melt very well
Tastes like a Twix candy bar - but thinner.
