1 large can sliced apples (Comstock)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 unbaked pie shell
1 tablespoon butter
Mix sugar and cinnamon and stir in a little juice to mix; then add rest of
apples. Stir to coat and pour into unbaked crust. Crumble topping so that it covers apples. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 or 40 minutes, or until topping and crust are golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream.
Crumb Topping:
Cream butter and sugar well. Cut in flour so it is in crumbs about the size
of peas. Crumble over top of apples before baking.
