1 cup margarine - softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 - 12 ounce bag of M and M plain chocolate candies or M and M chocolate

Cream together the sugars and the margarine until light and fluffy. Beat
in the egg and vanilla. Set aside. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda & salt together. Add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the M and M's. Drop by heaping tablespoons full, about 2 inches apart, on to un-greased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for
10 to 13 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Cool about one
minute before removing from the cookie sheets, then cool completely on wire racks before storing in a tightly covered container.
