1 lb. ground beef
1/3 cup Taco Bell Home Originals Thick 'N Chunky Salsa
2 cups (8 oz.) elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) Velveeta Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up
1. Brown meat in large skillet; drain.
2. Stir in 2 and 3/4 cups water, salsa and chili powder. Bring to boil; stir
in macaroni. Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until water is almost absorbed.
3. Add Velveeta; stir until melted. Top with crushed tortilla chips, chopped
green onions and tomatoes, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
Great Variation: Substitute Taco Bell Home Originals Taco Seasoning Mix for
the chili powder.
Great Substitute: Prepare as directed, using Velveeta Mexican Pasteurized
Prepared Cheese Product with Jalapeņo Peppers.
