Brownie mix with nuts
1/4 cup Kohlua (optional)
2 packages chocolate mousse. See note in Helpful Hints.
16 ounce container Cool Whip
1 cup chopped pecans
4 to 6 Heath or Skor candy bars, crushed
Bake brownies and cool. If you desire to use Kahlua, poke holes when
brownies are cool and drizzle over Kohlua. Prepare chocolate mousse according to package directions. In a large deep glass bowl, crumble half of brownies. Top with 1/2 of mousse mixture and 1/2 of Cool Whip. Sprinkle with 1/2 of crushed candy bars and 1/2 cup
pecans. Repeat. Chill at least 3 hours before serving.
Serves 10 to 12
While this is light and delicious, it is also quite filling. My
Granddaughter prefers this instead of cake on her birthday.
Note: The 2 packages of Chocolate Mousse in the ingredients is sometimes hard to find. It may be replaced by mixing a small package of Chocolate pudding with an 8 ounce container of Coolwhip.
