Fannie Farmers Pumpkin pie

Ingredients:

1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground clove
1-1/2 cups fresh or canned unseasoned pumpkin
1-1/2 evaporated milk
1/2 cup regular milk
2 eggs slightly beaten

Method:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Line 9 inch pie pan with dough
Combine ingredients in large bowl and beat until smooth.
Pour into lined pan and bake for 10 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake for about 45 minutes or until filling is firm.

Makes 1 9 inch open pie
