Deviled crab Casserole

Ingredients:

1 lb. cooked crab meat or mock crab
3 tblsp. Butter
2 tblsp. Chopped onion
2 tblsp. Flour
1 tsp. dry mustard
˝ tsp. each salt & sage
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1 cup milk
1 tblsp. Each Lemon juice, barbecue sauce, & chopped parsley
1 egg, beaten
˝ cup soft bread crumbs
2 tblsp. Butter, melted

Method:

Melt butter and sauté onion until tender. Blend flour and seasonings. Add milk gradually and cook until thick stirring constantly. Add lemon juice and barbecue sauce. Put a bit of the sauce into the beaten egg and then blend this mixture into saucepan. Add crab and heat thoroughly. Stir the mixture gently and place into a baking dish or 4 individual ramekins. Top with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake in 375 f oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
