• 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin puree
• 1 c. apple juice or apple cider
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 1/4 c. honey
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 2 tsp. lemon juice
• 1 tsp. ground ginger
• ¾ tsp. ground nutmeg
1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10-15 minutes, stirring regularly. Mixture will become more smooth as it is heated and stirred.
4. *For a thicker consistency, continue heating and stirring over medium-low heat for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
