1 cup ham
15 oz. can cream corn
¼ cup onion
½ cup celery
2 cups potatoes
½ cup carrots
½ cup cooked bacon
¼ cup green pepper
¼ cup red peppers
3 tblsp. chicken boullion
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups milk
¼ cup flour
¼ cup butter
Place potatoes, carrots, celery,green pepper,red pepper,chicken boullion, onion and ham in large saucepan. Cover with 2 cups water and cook until potatoes are just tender, about 10 minutes
Make white sauce: Melt butter in saucepan, stir in flour. Gradually add milk, salt and pepper, stirring constantly until thickens. Add corn and mix thoroughly. Add to vegetable mixture and heat thoroughly. Do Not Boil! Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and serve.
Variation: Add 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese to white sauce.
