1/2 cup dried macaroni or shell pasta
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk, any percent
1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded cheese, such as cheddar, Monterey Jack, or provolone
Combine noodles, water and salt in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave on high for 2 minute intervals until noodles are done, about 8 minutes. Stir at each interval.
Remove from microwave and leave covered while you immediately heat milk.
Warm milk in another bowl for about one minute. Add cheese and stir. Pour cheese mixture over noodles. If necessary microwave for another 30 seconds to one minute.
