4 ounces Butter,
2 level tablespoons honey
one quarter teaspoon of vanilla essence
4 ounces plain flour
chopped cherries and/or toasted almonds.
Cream butter and honey until light and fluffy,Then add vanilla and
gradually mix in flour and mix well.
Flour your hands and roll small amounts of the mix into balls, trying to
make the balls of three different sizes. Heap balls onto each other with
the smallest on top onto a baking tray. The tray should be greased to
avoid sticking. Flatten slightly and sprinkle with cherries and/or almonds.
Bake in a moderately hot oven for ten to fifteen minutes. at 375 F. Then cool on a wire tray.
