1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 egg
1/2 cup whole milk
2 cups panko bread crumbs

Place bread crumbs in a third shallow bowl. Coat onion with flour mixture, then dip in egg mixture, then dip in flour mixture and egg mixture again. Coat with bread crumbs, pressing to adhere.
2. In an electric skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°. Fry onion rings, a few at a time, for 30 seconds on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with additional seasoned salt.
