2 cups flaked smoked whitefish
4 tablespoons fat-free sour cream
2 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise
4 drops hot pepper sauce, or to taste
3 drops Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
3 drops liquid smoke flavoring (Optional)
1 pinch seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay
cracked black pepper to taste
Step 1 Place whitefish, sour cream, and mayonnaise in the bowl of a food processor; season with hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, seafood seasoning, and cracked black pepper. Blend until combined with a spread-like consistency.
I think this fish dip recipe is world-class and puts most others to shame! It is served in several prominent restaurants on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Serve with crackers, lemon or lime wedges, and capers.
