1 small yellow onion, cut-up
1 cup best-quality mayonnaise
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup tomato catsup
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
Dash cracked pepper
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
1. Place all of the ingredients except the blue cheese in a blender or small food processor. Blend until quite smooth. Pour into a bowl and gently fold in the blue cheese. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
