1/2 cup sesame seeds
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 pure maple syrup

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Mix together all the ingredients in a large bowl and spread onto a baking sheet and place in the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown stirring twice during baking. Serve with yogurt and fresh fruit.
It is super easy to make your own granola and you can add whatever you like to customize it. We are serving it with low fat Greek yogurt and you can add your favorite fresh or dried fruit as well. This recipe can be easily doubled. It makes a great gift as well, just package in a mason jar.
