2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
2 cups Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
3 tablespoons yellow mustard
2-1/4 teaspoons cider vinegar
3/4 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 celery ribs, chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
3 hard-boiled large eggs, chopped
1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and rinse with cold water. Cool completely.
2. For dressing, in a small bowl, combine Miracle Whip, sugar, relish, mustard, vinegar, celery seed and salt. In a large bowl, combine macaroni, celery, onion, red pepper and eggs. Add dressing; gently toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

YIELD: 10 servings.
This Amish macaroni salad is a crowd favorite. It's supposed to be sweet, but you can lessen the sugar to suit your taste. Garnish with sliced hard-boiled eggs and paprika, if desired.
