3 Granny Smith apples, peeled cored and thinly sliced
2/3 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tbsp of apple pie spice
8-12 croissant dough triangles
1/2 cup of sugar in the raw
Toss apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and apple pie spice. Place an equal portion of apple mixture in the center of each dough triangle.
Starting at the end opposite the point of the triangle, roll croissant, trying to contain as much of the apple mixture as possible.
Sprinkle each croissant with sugar in the raw.
Bake on a grease cookie sheet at 400 degrees until golden brown.
Recipe serves six to eight.
