Barbecued Spareribs


1 medium onion
2 Tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup celery
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup water
2 Tablespoons vinegar
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 Tablespoons Worstershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lbs. country style pork spareribs


Blend all ingredients except ribs in a blender or a food processor. Place
ribs in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven & drain fat. Increase oven temp. to 375 degrees. Pour blended sauce over ribs. Bake 1 hour longer.
