Candied Pecans 2

Ingredients:

1 lb. pecan halves\
1/3 cups granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinamon
1 large egg white
1 tablespoon water

Method:

Heat oven to 300 degrees F
Cover a large pan with 1 inch sides with wax paper
In a large bowl mix sugar, salt, and cinamon
Set Aside
In another large bowl mix together egg white and water with a wisk.
Toss pecans in egg mixture
Then toss pecans in sugar Mixture
Spread coated pecans evenly on pan.
Reduce oven heat to 250 degrees F.
Bake pecans for about 1 hour
Stirring every 15 minutes
When pecans are dry to touch remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Store in air tight container.

Helpful Hints:

They Freeze well.
