Chewy granola energy bars

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups of quick rolled oats
1/2 cup of Rice Krispies
1/4 cup of coconut
1/2 M&M candies
1/2 cup of chopped peanuts
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of butter, softened
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/4 cup of honey
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1 egg

Method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x9 nice square pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined. Press into prepared pan. Bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
Cool 5 minutes and score to the size you want. Let set completely; cut bars all
the way through.

Helpful Hints:

Margarine may be substituted for butter. Peanuts may be replaced with another type of nut, if desired.
