Cranberry Cream Scones

2 cups flour
1 fourth cup sugar
1 table spoon baking powder
Dash of salt
1 cup dried Cranberries
1 and 1 fourth cups whipping cream
Melted butter and raw sugar (optional)


Set oven to 400 degrees F.
Stir dry ingredients and cranberries together, add cream.  Mixthoroughly
then knead 7 to eight times.  Pat in to circles 8 inches across, and divide
in to 8 sections. Or cut with a cutter.  Brush with butter and sprinkle with
sugar I usually brush with butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar when hot
from oven with my other scoons.

Bake about fifteen minutes or tikll lightly browned.
