1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup (3 ounces) crumbled feta cheese
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
1. In an electric blender or a food processor, blend the yogurt, buttermilk, mayonnaise, feta cheese, sugar, dill, basil, and pepper until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.
This tangy, low-fat feta and herb yogurt dressing pairs well with a variety of vegetable and lettuce salads.
Makes about 1 2/3 cups.
