HARVEST SWEET POTATO BISCUITS

Ingredients:

2 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 c. milk

Method:

Sift first 4 ingredients together into bowl. Cut in shortening until
crumbly. Stir in sweet potatoes. Add milk; mix well. Turn onto floured
board. Knead lightly. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with 2 inch biscuit
cutter. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake in 475F oven for 12 to 15
minutes.
