Halley's healthy gourmet oatmeal

Ingredients:

1 third cup slow cooking oatmeal (steel cut oats)
1 half large apple
1 eighth teaspoon apple spice
1 eighth teaspoon cinnamon
4 almonds
Small amount of protein powder (about 14 grams)
2 cups hot water
Soy-milk

Method:

Pour the oatmeal and water in a large saucepan and cook on low heat.
Add chopped apple, apple spice, cinnamon, and almonds
let cook for about 30 minutes stirring often.
When oatmeal is almost done and getting dry add a small amount of soy-milk until desired thickness is attained.
Remove from stovetop and pour in large bowl.
Add protein powder and stir, Mix well.

Serves 1
