Ham Cornbread Pie

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Fleischmann's Margarine
1 cup onion slices
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup Planter's Cocktail Peanut, chopped
Generous dash pepper
1 (10 ounce) package cornbread mix
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 pound sliced boiled ham
3 slices pasteurized processed American cheese, cut in half
2 pimiento stuffed olives, sliced

Method:

Melt margarine in a large skillet. Add onions, garlic and chili powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender. Remove from heat. Stir in peanuts and pepper. Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions, using egg and milk. Spread on bottom of 12 inch pizza pan. Arrange ham on cornbread; top with onion mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Top with cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer, or until cheese is melted. Garnish with olive slices.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
