Hash Brown Casserole3

Ingredients:

2 pounds hash browns
half cup melted butter
half cup chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup milk
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
salt
pepper

Method:

preheat oven to 350
combine all ingredients in large bowl keep half cup of cheese out for topping
place in greased 9 by 13 casserole dish
top with reserve cheese
bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until hot and bubbly

Helpful Hints:

Hints
can mix up and chill and cover night before, top with reserve cheese just before baking
Note: be careful if you chill before baking. Even Pyrex dishes can break when going from refrigerator to hot oven.
