Ice Cream Sandwhich Dessert

Ingredients:

24 ice cream sandwiches
8 oz. carton Cool Whip (12 oz. makes it creamier)
Chocolate syrup
1 pkg. Heath Bits

Method:

In a 9 x 13 pan, layer 12 of the ice cream sandwiches,
cutting to fit if necessary. Spread layer of Cool Whip.
Drizzle chocolate syrup over Cool Whip. Sprinkle with Heath
bits.

Repeat layer with the final layer being Cool Whip/chocolate
and Heath Bits. Freeze one hour before serving.

Hints:

You could cut the recipe in half and use a loaf pan.

You could use the Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches for a
different taste.

You could also substitute crushed Oreo cookies or other
flavored bits and any syrup flavor.
