Jean's Beans

Ingredients:

½ lb. bacon, cut in 1 inch pieces
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can kidney beans
1 can pork&beans
2 tablespoons vinegar
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons mustard
½ cup ketchup
2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce

Method:

Brown ground beef.
Saute onion, garlic and green pepper.
Place all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low as long as you like!
Kay’s note: This can be served plain with biscuits or over rice, polenta or mashed potatoes.
