1 quart whole milk
2 tablespoons sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons rice
Grease a 2 quart baking pan with butter.
Put the 3 ingredients into the pan.
Put into a 300 degree F oven for 2 hours.
After 1 hour open the oven and give the rice pudding a stir stirring the skin that forms on top into the pudding. Do this again after another ? hour and after baking it for a total of 2 hours take it out and stir once again.
Put in a teaspoon of vanilla and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
