Quick and Easy Berry/Yogurt Smoothie

Ingredients:

One half cup raspberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1 banana
1 TBSP of honey
5 oz vanilla flavored Greek yogurt
A pinch of cinnamon
1/2 cup of ice/water

Method:

Place all ingredients in a blender. Place the lid on the blender. Blenderize until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!!

Helpful Hints:

In today�s society, with everyone as busy as they are, smoothies are a fun way to get lots of great nutrition without having to take a lot of time. This recipe has been designed for active individuals because it is high in antioxidants( they strengthen your ability to fight infection and disease), calcium and protein as well.
Helpful Hints: Any fruit can be used so if berries are not available. Kefir, soy
milk or rice milk could also be substituted in place of the yogurt. If kefir, soy milk or rice milk is substituted
the water may need to be cut back to provide the desired consistency. Also, don�t be afraid to visit your local farmer�s markets
for fresh, in season produce. In season, fruits picked at the peak of ripeness are going to be better for you. Mixed frozen fruit can also be used if fresh fruit is not available.
