South of the border tamale crescent ring

Ingredients:

2 lbs. ground beef
? cup corn meal
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup each chopped onion, black olives, ketchup
16 ounce can whole tomatoes
1 ? cups corn
8 ounce can tomato sauce
2 8 ounce cans of crescent dinner rolls
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Method:

Oven 375F
In frying pan brown meat and drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except rolls & cheese.
Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Separate roll dough into rectangles. There are separations diagonally across the rectangles. Press the perforations to close the gap.
Place 6 of these rectangles around the center tube of the bundt pan.
Press to seal them together. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of corn meal and a the 2 cups of cheese.
Spoon in the ground beef mixture. Cut each dough rectangle into 4 strips. Place these around the top like spokes on a wheel.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool upright in pan then invert onto a serving platter.
