1 cup of Worcestershire sauce
1/8 cup of Lawry’s seasoned salt
1/8 cup of garlic salt
For the sandwich:
2 pounds of beef loin or mock tenderloin
For The Marinade
Combine all ingredients and whisk to dissolve salts.
Place beef in flat container and pour over marinade.
Turn beef in marinade to coat.
Place in refrigerator to marinate for 1.5 hours, turning once at the half way point.
Remove from fridge and let stand 30 minutes.
Grill or broil until desired doneness.
Cool, then slice into 1/8-inch slices.
For The Sandwhich
Cover French bread with sliced steak, then layer with caramelized onions and cheese.
Toast in 400-degree oven until hot and cheese is melted and bubbling.
Remove from oven and add horseradish; spread to taste.
Makes about four sandwiches.
