1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon granulated sugar*
Pinch of salt and pepper
1. Place the dressing ingredients in a container that has a tight-fitting lid and shake until well mixed.
Makes approximately 3/4 cup.
A delicious and versatile balsamic vinaigrette that's quick and easy to make. Use it to dress vegetable, fruit, pasta and leaf salads.
*Or, try it with brown sugar for a terrific flavor variation.
