1 (5 ounce) bottle Lea And Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
2 cups water
1 cup cider vinegar
3/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boiling point. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Cool. Pour into tightly covered container. This sauce will keep refrigerated for several weeks. Use for chicken, hamburgers or steak.
Makes 4 cups.
