Tomato Pie2

Ingredients:

1 9 inch pie shell, baked for 10 minutes
2 to 3 large tomatoes, peeled and sliced
Salt and pepper, to taste
¾ cups mayonnaise
½ cups cheddar cheese, grated finely
4 bacon strips, cooked crisp and crumbled
½ cups onion, finely chopped

Method:

Mix mayonnaise and cheese together in a bowl.
Place a layer of tomatoes in the bottom of the pie shell.
Sprinkle bacon and onion on top of tomatoes.
Put another layer of tomatoes and then another layer of bacon and onions
Top with mayonnaise mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly at 350 degrees F.
Remove from oven and let stand for about 5 minutes.
Slice like a pie.
