Twice Baked Potato

Ingredients:

1 large potato per each person, washed
1 tablespoon melted butter for each potato.
1 tbsp. sour cream or plain yogurt for each potato.
1 tablespoon bacon bits
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Chopped onion
¼ cups cheddar cheese for each potato
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Chopped ham or other meat

Method:

In a glass corning ware dish with a lid place potatoes. Usually can do at least two at a time.
Cover about half way with water.
Cook in microwave for 15 minutes.
Take out of microwave. IT IS HOT
Turn over potatoes
Return dish to microwave and cook for 10 more minutes.
If fork stuck in potato goes in easily it is done.

Place potatoes on a dish Cut into half to cool.

Step 2
In a large bowl add the things you likeâ?¦
1 tablespoon melted butter for each potato.
1 tbsp. sour cream or plain yogurt for each potato.
1 tablespoon bacon bits
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Chopped onion
¼ cups cheddar cheese for each potato
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Chopped ham or other meat
Mix the potato with any or all of these things.

Step 3
You will need a bowl that can go in the oven.
You will need a bowl for each person.
Fill the bowl with potato mixture.
Top with grated cheese
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until bubbling.
Serve with a small salad.


May also top with chili.
