Dear family and friends:

                I received 

 A call from a nurse at my oncologist's office during which she gave me the
results of my pet scan.

She stated that the scan only saw a light amount of activity in my left
upper chest, and that appeared to be where I had a swollen 

 Syst 

 Drained 

 Last week.  She also expressed the thought that no further treatment may be
required.  I amscheduled to see an oncologist that specializes in radiation
treatment on Monday, but hopefully that will not result in extended
treatment.  I do understand that some times the area where a tumor was
removed will be radiated to hopefully prevent a return of the tumor which
was removed.  The doctor who removed the tumor thought he only removed 95
percent, but since the scan did not show anything at that location, I may be
home free.  I sincerely appreciate all of the good wishes as well as the
prayers that have been sent for my good health.
